Non medical helper (NMH) supplier list
While it is not a requirement for Welsh students to secure their NMH support from a known (registered) supplier, to aid recommendations, Needs Assessors can use this list to view and obtain existing supplier contact details in order to provide NMH quotations.
There are two lists below:
NMH Register (predominantly BAND 3 & 4 support roles)
These roles can be found on the main NMH Register which is owned by the Department of Education, England (DfE). Any requests for additional roles to be agreed or requests to be added should be directed to disabled.studentallowances@education.gov.uk.
Additional SFW Funded NMH Roles (predominantly BAND 1 & 2 support roles)
These roles can be found on a separate list that contains details of NMH suppliers who provide the NMH Roles that are funded by Student Finance Wales only. This has been split out from the main NMH Register to be used as a reference only; the list will not be updated.
If you are a supplier wanting to offer services for these roles, and you are not currently on the list, please introduce yourself to Capita and Study Tech who are responsible for undertaking needs assessments for SLC and making appropriate NMH recommendations. Their contact details are below:
Capita: DSA@Capita.com
Study Tech: opportunity@study.tech
If you need to change your contact details for Band 1 or 2 support roles, please email dsa_requests@slc.co.uk.
