Evidence

You’ll need to send us evidence when you’re applying and during your course so we can check you’re eligible for EMA.

Academic year 2024 to 2025

If you’ve applied online, you’ll be able to submit evidence to us through your online account. You'll only need to send us evidence items by post where we specify that.

If you received a letter from us asking for evidence, you can use these guides to help work out what you should send.

If you or your parent(s), guardian(s) or partner completed a paper tax return for the 2022 to 2023 tax year, you may find this guide useful.

You or your parent(s), guardian(s) or partner may have been asked to send financial evidence in support of your application. Or you may have been asked to complete a Financial Details Form. You can download the form and notes here.
