How and when to apply

Applications for 2023 to 2024 full-time undergraduate student finance are now open! Create an account or sign in to apply! Apply as early as possible to make sure you get your money on time for your course starting. If you apply late, your money might be late too.

You should apply online.

If you are applying for tuition fee support only as an EU student, you will need to send us an application form. You cannot apply online.

If you cannot apply online you’ll need to send us an application form.

If you’re re-applying for student finance after withdrawing from a course or suspending your studies, find out what you need to do.

You can apply now for academic year:

• 2023 to 2024
• 2022 to 2023
• 2021 to 2022

You must apply no later than 9 months after the start of your academic year. You do not need a confirmed place at university or college to apply.
