Full-time undergraduate EU student finance: applications now open for 2021 to 2022

Student finance applications are now open for new and continuing full-time undergraduate EU students for the academic year 2021 to 2022.

Postgraduate and part-time undergraduate student finance applications will open in the summer.

Let your students know that it’s quick and easy to apply – they just need to follow these simple steps:

• Fill in the relevant application form
• if they’re a new student they’ll need their passport or identity card. Students do not need a confirmed place at university or college before they apply. They can apply using their first choice and change their details later if they need to.
• If they’re a continuing student they’ll only be required to complete the relevant application form. They will not need to re-submit identity evidence – unless they have been specifically asked to provide it.
• Provide evidence – make sure students know that they need to provide any evidence we ask for. If they don’t, it could delay their application.

It can take up to 6 weeks to process their application, you should encourage students to apply as soon as possible to make sure they get their money in time for the start of their course.
