It’s time for students to apply for student finance!
Our full-time undergraduate student finance applications for 2022 to 2023 academic year are now open! The easiest way for new students to apply is online through the Student Finance Wales website. It should only take around 30 minutes.
Remember to tell continuing students that they’ll need to re-apply for student finance, also through their online account.
You should encourage students to apply before the deadline to make sure their funding is ready for starting their course:
- New students – 27 May 2022
- Returning students – 17 June 2022
Students can apply for funding even if they don’t have a confirmed place on a course yet. They should give us the details of their preferred course and change it later if they need to.
If you qualify for a Tuition Fee Loan only you should apply using the EU Student application form.
Postgraduate and part-time undergraduate student finance applications will open in the summer.
