It’s time for new and continuing EU full-time undergraduate students to apply for student finance for the 2021 to 2022 academic year!
Postgraduate and part-time undergraduate student finance applications will open in the summer.
It’s quick and easy to apply – you just need to follow these simple steps:
- Fill in the relevant application form
- if you’re a new student you’ll need your passport or identity card. You do not need a confirmed place at university or college before you apply. You can apply using your first choice and change your details later if you need to.
- If you’re a continuing student you’ll only be required to complete the relevant application form. You will not need to re-submit identity evidence – unless you have been specifically asked to provide it.
- Provide evidence – make sure to provide any evidence we ask for. If you don’t, it could delay your application.
It can take up to 6 weeks to process an application, we recommend that you apply as soon as possible to make sure you get your money in time for the start of your course.
