You’re not eligible for Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)

To qualify for EMA, your total household income must be:

• £24,570 or less if you’re the only young person in your household
• £27,273 or less if there are other young people in your household

A "young person" is:

• anyone under 16 years old
• a person who is between 16 and 20 years old, is in full-time education or training and is eligible to receive Child Benefit
