How much you can get

You could get a mixture of a loan and grant of up to £6,724 a year to help towards your living costs, and a Tuition Fee Loan up to £6,935 to pay your course fees.

You may also be able to get extra help if you’ve got dependants, or a disability or long-term health condition.

How do you get paid?

We pay your loan/grant for living costs 3 times a year, usually at the start of each term.

We pay the course fees directly to your university or college.

When will applications open?

Applications for part-time undergraduate student finance for 2024 to 2025 are expected to open by the end of May.
