The deadline for full-time undergraduate student finance applications has passed

The deadline for new and continuing full-time undergraduate students to apply for student finance in academic year 2022 to 2023 has now passed – but it’s important to remind students that it’s not too late to make an application and get some money in time for the start of their course.

It’s important that students apply as soon as they can

Full-time undergraduate students should still apply now even if they don’t have a confirmed place at uni or college yet – it’s quick and easy to change an application online later if they need to.

If they’re applying for student finance that’s based on their household income, we’ll need their parents’ or partner’s income details. It takes longer for us to process household income details so it’s likely students applying after the deadline will only get some of their Maintenance Loan at the start of their course – we’ll pay the rest as soon as we can.
