You need to re-apply for student finance every year
When do you re-apply?
Normally we will contact you as soon as the application for the next academic year has launched to tell you it’s time to apply.
For academic year 2013/14, the online application is available now.
What is the deadline?
The deadline to apply for 2013/14 is 01 June 2013.
If you miss this deadline you should apply as soon as possible. But, you may not receive your first instalment right at the start of term.
How do you re-apply?
The quickest and easiest way to re-apply is to log into your account and apply online.
- From the home page click on Login.
- Follow the instructions to enter your login details and access your account page.
- Near the bottom of the My Account page click Apply for Student Support on the relevant year.
This will start your student finance application.
If you have forgotten any of your login details you can get them online by clicking on Find out your login details on the Login page.
Answer all the questions carefully. If you get stuck, most questions have help which you can read by clicking Show Help.
You can save your progress at any time, so you can exit the application and come back to it again later.
Depending on the type of student finance you want to apply for, your parents or partner may also need to answer some questions on the application.
