Tuition Fee Loan

The maximum Tuition Fee Loan available is £3,465.


Maintenance Loan

The maximum amounts of Maintenance Loan available are:

Living in your own home and studying outside London £4,745
Studying overseas £5,658

If your course is longer than 30 term-time weeks (plus short holidays) you can get an extra amount of loan to help with your living costs

Assembly Learning Grant and Special Support Grant

The maximum amounts of Assembly Learning Grant and Special Support Grant available are £5,000.


Childcare Grant

The maximum amounts of Childcare Grant available are

  • £161.50 per week if you have one child in registered or approved childcare.
  • £274.55 per week if you have two or more children in registered or approved childcare.

Parents’ Learning Allowance

The maximum amount of Parents’ Learning Allowance available is £1,508.


Adult Dependants’ Grant

The maximum amount of Adult Dependants’ Grant available is £2,647.


Disabled Students’ Allowances

The maximum amounts of Disabled Students’ Allowances are:

Non-medical helper allowance £20,520 per year
Specialist equipment allowance £5,166 for the whole course
Other disability-related expenditure allowance £1,729 per year
