You should send your completed forms to your local authority. To identify your LA and their contact details please refer to the LA finder.

07/08 Full Time Students

The Guide to Financial Support for Higher Education Students in 2007/2008 (322k) provides detailed information on all aspects of financial support. You can also find out more information in, Student Loans, A Guide to Terms & Conditions (2.22mb).

New students wishing to apply for support should complete this application form PN1 (985kb) and consult these guidance notes (95.2kb).

Continuing students should complete this application form PR1 (738kb) and refer to these guidance notes (90kb).

Please not that if you completed a PR1 form before the 18th April there was an error on page 21 (bursary consent statements). More information is available more information (117kb).

Students who have already applied for support and wish to amend the loan amount they requested should complete a Maintenance Loan Request Form (bilingual) (20kb) or those who wish to amend their request for tuition fees should complete a Tuition Fee Loan Request Form (bilingual) (18kb).

Birth/Adoption Certificate Declaration Forms

You must complete and return the Birth/Adoption Certificate Declaration Forms (96.6kb) if you are sending your Birth or Adoption Certificate as proof of your identity when applying for student finance. This form contains two separate declarations. The Declaration of Identity form must be signed by yourself to confirm your identity. The Identity Confirmation form is to verify your identity and must be completed by a person of good standing in the community who has known you for at least two years.

Disabled Students Allowance

Students wishing to apply for the Disabled Students Allowance should complete a DSA1 form (bilingual) (1197kb) and consult these guidance notes (269kb).

07/08 Part Time Students

Part Time students wishing to apply for support should complete the application form PTG1 (2069kb) and consult these Guidance notes (710kb)

Confirmation of benefits form for part time students or sponsors CB1 (202k)

Childcare Grant

Students who wish to apply for help with childcare costs will require these forms:

• Application form for help with childcare costs CCG1 (158kb)
• Confirmation of childcare payments CCG2 (161kb)

Supporting Students

Those supporting students during their studies may require these forms:

• Confirmation of Benefits form for full-time students CB2 (82kb)
• Confirmation of Income CI2 (105kb)
• Confirmation of Earnings from Self-employment GSA1 (38kb)

Provision of financial information in support of an application (where it has not been provided on the main application form) for new PFF1 (299kb) or returning PFF2 (240kb) students.

Change of Circumstance

If your circumstances change after you start your course, you will require one of these forms:
